City Facilities Set to Reopen May 11
City Hall and City facilities (with the exemption of the Senior Center) will reopen on May 11. Staff is taking measures to ensure the health and safety of both employees and residents. We ask that visitors adhere to the following safety measures as well.

Buena Park Community Resource Center
The Buena Park Community Resource Center continues to provide residents with resources, now over the phone and through email. They work to connect residents to critical resources (food, healthcare, financial assistance, jobs, housing, etc.) Call (855) 796-3456 for more.

COVID-19 Cases in Buena Park
The County of Orange, continues to provide updated data for city-by-city count of the County’s COVID-19 cases. Buena Park currently has 101 reported cases. Please continue to do your part by staying home as much as possible except for essential trips. Buena Park is in this together.
Buena Park's Eviction Moratorium
On March 17, 2020, the City Council adopted a city law prohibiting evictions for tenants of residential and commercial properties for those unable to pay rent due to financial impacts related to COVID-19. Click here to learn more.

ACCREDITATION TEAM INVITES PUBLIC COMMENTS
As part of the CALEA site-based assessment, the Buena Park Police Department invites agency employees, and members of the public to participate in a public information session to offer comments by calling 714-562-3881 on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, between the hours of 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. CALEA Assessors will be available at that time to take your comments.
U.S. CENSUS ADJUSTING OPERATIONS DURING COVID-19
The U.S. Census Bureau is beginning to send reminder notice postcards to an estimated 69 million households that have not yet responded to the 2020 Census. About 53.4% of households across the country have already responded. Those households that have not yet responded to the census will receive an in person visit by a census taker to collect their information later this summer.
